The moment the Public Bodies Bill was passed..
February 28, 2014 by Eilidh Smith No Comments | Category Uncategorized

On Tuesday the 25 February the Public Bodies Bill was passed in parliament. A huge thank-you to everyone who has worked so hard and contributed to helping make this happen. There is a lot of work still to do regarding implementation but we are one step closer now to integrating health and social care.
We took a photo of parliament from our office in St Andrew’s House around 17.15 on that day. We wanted to capture the fabulous rainbow over the building. Little did we know that the rainbow actually appeared at exactly the same time as the Bill was being passed. Maybe it’s just a coincidence however we couldn’t help feeling that this was a positive sign for the future.
