New Interim Director of Health and Social Care Integration

Following an interview process Geoff Huggins, currently Head of Mental Health and Protection of Rights Division has been selected to fill the Director, Health and Social Care Integration post on a temporary basis until a permanent appointment is made. Geoff will take up his new role on Monday 14 April.
He succeeds Angiolina Foster who is leaving the Scottish Government to become the new Chief Executive of Healthcare Improvement Scotland. Arrangements to fill the Director, Health and Social Care Integration post on a permanent basis are under consideration and will be announced in due course.
Geoff’s current role as Head of Mental Health and Protection of Rights Division is being advertised as a short term temporary development opportunity across relevant staff in the DG Health & Social Care area.
