Scottish Procurement and Property has a new Director

Nick Ford has taken up post as our new Director of Procurement and Property at Scottish Government.

Nick brings with him a wealth of experience, with nearly 30 years specialising in procurement, commercial and project management roles across the UK, and a broad track record of implementing commercial transformation programmes.

Previously, Nick joined the public sector as part of HMG’s Commercial Functional Leadership Group. Spending 8 years as Head of Commercial and Procurement at the Department for International Development.

We’re excited to bring Nick to the Scottish Government – a fresh perspective from outside the organisation is always welcome, and his experience chimes with the Scottish Government’s focus to deliver better outcomes for the people of Scotland.

Nick started his new role on 1 July 2020.
