The Role of LABSS within the Building Standards System – Customer Survey
May 25, 2021 by Michelle Williamson No Comments | Category Building Standards
Optimal Economics is undertaking a research project for the Building Standards Division (BSD) of the Scottish Government to identify and quantify the role and contribution Local Authority Buildings Standards Scotland (LABSS) makes to the delivery of the building standards system in Scotland.
LABSS works closely with BSD to produce technical and procedural guidance papers, it runs the Scottish Type Approval System and Registered Details schemes and it offers a Dispute Resolution Service for users who do not agree with the interpretation of the regulations provided during their building warrant process.
This survey seeks the views of users of the building standards system. It has five questions and should only take a couple of minutes to complete.
Your views are much appreciated.
Closing date for Survey is 4 June 2021.
