December 10, 2020 by Patrick Douglas No Comments | Category Case study
During an online stakeholder event on Wednesday 9 December, Minister for Trade, Investment and Innovation Ivan McKee announced the publication of the 2020 case studies booklet.
The booklet, available to view online as a PDF, promotes the achievements of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Programmes in Scotland.
Its 22 pages feature people, businesses and organisations from across Scotland who have benefitted from support from the European Social Fund (ESF) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The case studies, themed around our aims of boosting Smart, Sustainable and Inclusive Growth, include:
- An unemployed young person in Dumfries who successfully gained qualifications and an apprenticeship at a local garage
- A brand new 4G mast in Strathconon that brings mobile coverage to areas in the Highland and Islands
- A vulnerable couple in Inverclyde whose unsustainable debts were resolved, improving their physical and mental wellbeing.
Further information can be found in the 2020 case studies booklet.
