European Maritime Grant Funds – Fisheries Areas and Community-Led Local Development (CLLD)
Community-Led Local Development (CLLD) is the process where local stakeholders develop responses to particular challenges faced within their communities. The European Commission (EC) has proposed that CLLD be one focus for the various European structural and investment funds under the Common Strategic Framework (CSF). Marine Scotland (MS) is currently developing an Operational Programme which will detail its approach to the delivery of the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) and this report provides evidence to support MS in deciding on the priority to give CLLD and on what key design features are needed to improve delivery.
