Complete our survey for the provision of Internet of Things (IoT)
October 9, 2018 by Lorraine Carlyle 2 Comments | Category buyers, ICT, Procurement news, Scottish Procurement
We are currently assessing the feasibility of a collaborative arrangement for the provision of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and services.
To help with assessing the demand, it would be appreciated if public sector representatives who have an IoT requirement or intend to buy IoT technologies and services on behalf of their organisation in the next 24 months could complete our short survey. The survey should take no more than five minutes and will close on 17 October 2018.
For further information please contact Anamaria Rehbein on 0131 244 5749.

We are not a public organisation. We are a private fixed wireless and full fibre broadband provider. We are most interested in how the Internet of Things will develop and feel that we can have a useful role, for example in the provision of powered masts with broadband connectivity. If you are able to keep us informed with regard to how Councils and the Scottish Government intend to procure such resources and what sorts of deployments are envisaged, I would be most grateful. In particular, if you intend to publish the outcome of your survey I would be very interested to read this, if it is in the public domain. Best regards, David.
Thanks for your comment. The results of this survey will be for internal use only but, as part of this opportunity assessment, Scottish Procurement will be issuing a Prior Information Notice (PIN) to engage with industry and seek their views and comments. We would welcome your comments to our PIN. This will be released shortly.
